Summer's almost over, and even though it's been a great one, I'm so ready for fall. It's my most favorite season. :-)

It's my birthday today! And, it snowed last night. All the schools are closed, and many businesses, too, so I'll be celebrating this weekend. Right now, I'm just gonna stay in, have some cocoa, and read some Game of Thrones fanfics. :-)

It's the first of November. I can't believe how fast this year's gone by. I mean, it seems like New Year's Day was only a month ago, doesn't it?

I do love my job, but I've been getting a lot of days off these last weeks. Things do get slow this time of year where I live--resort town in the fall and all that. It'll pick up come November, I'll bet.

Speaking of seasons, I'm already seeing Christmas decorations in stores. And it's not even Halloween yet.

I know I haven't been posting much, so I just thought I'd let my flist know that I'm still around. There's just been a lot of real life stuff going on, and a few other sites have caught my attention--*cough*Pintrest*cough*.

I do have some good news--I have a job! I start later on this month.

I finally saw The Hunger Games last week, and I really liked it; the book was better, though(isn't that always the case?). This was one of the few times when I read the book before I saw the movie. :-) How soon 'til it's on DVD, I wonder?
